Matassa Construction was hired as construction manager for new construction of a state-of-the-art New Jersey-based Data Center. 

Cervalis’ Totowa Data Center is located just 17 miles from Midtown Manhattan in the center of Northern NJ. Totowa’s critical electrical system is 100% concurrently maintainable; with the capacity to support high-density compute requirements above 200 watts per sq. ft. Dedicated work seats ensure businesses remain productive in the event of unforeseen and uncontrollable disruptions. The 200,000 sq. ft. New Jersey location offers 50,000 sq. ft.  of raised floor data center space and 60,000 sq.  ft. of work area recovery space in two buildings. Designed specifically to meet the increasing demand for business continuity solutions on a 24X365 basis. 

High-Density Configuration. With 50,000 sq. ft. of raised floor data center space, 16MW of utility power, and 2,500 tons of N+1 cooling capacity, the Totowa Data Center offers the highest levels of support for high density configurations.

The facility includes 60,000 sq. ft. of work area recovery space.
